Two Part Introduction to Scent work Series!
Part 1: Introduction to Scent Work- All you need is FOOD! starts Sunday May 2nd – $25
In this two week class, Kristen will help you train your dogs how to use their nose and search for food in their own home. Perfect for those that would like to take a scent work class or give their dog some more mental stimulation. Each dog is different and will need more guidance to help them be comfortable searching for food in different types of containers and environments.
Part 2: Searching for Handler Scent – starts Sunday March March 17th – Part 2 – $25
In this two week class, Kristen will teach dogs to locate their owners scent on socks/gloves. Once they can identify their owners scent, we will teach them to find our keys amongst other things.
Trick Training – starts Sunday May 10th – $30
In this 4 week class, Kristen will help teach your pups 4 super fun tricks including wave Hi, nose touch, etc. If you would like to join the fun and not post videos, the cost is $20.
Scent work Challenge #2 – Must know how to search – May 6th – $20
In this 2 week class, Kristen will set three specific challenges for you and your pup. For example, the first challenge may be to set a corner hide. I will demonstrate by video what a corner hide is and ask you to set one as well. For each hide, I’d like you to: 1) predict how your dog may find it; 2) video the search; 3) Describe how your dog found it – did he find it as predicted or was it different. Let’s discuss why if was different. You can also submit video only for feedback 🙂 Dogs must know how to search for food or odor.
